Grooming Since 1999
Years of hands-on work with different breeds, coat types, ages, temperaments, and grooming needs.
Julie has worked in pet grooming since 1999. She combines traditional hand-scissoring skills with a calm, one-on-one approach for dogs and cats in Boca Raton.
I entered the pet-grooming industry in 1999 and was fortunate to learn traditional grooming from a mentor who had owned and operated six successful grooming shops since the 1960s.
That training included the careful scissor work that has become increasingly difficult to find. It taught me that good grooming is not only about the finished haircut. It also requires patience, precision, and an understanding of how each animal responds.
I opened Julie's Groom Room because I wanted a place of my own where I could practice those skills and provide the kind of personal service I believe pets and their owners deserve.
After more than two decades in grooming, I still approach every appointment with care and respect. Professionalism and customer service remain central to how I work.
Technique matters, but experience also teaches a groomer when to slow down, adjust, and make an appointment easier for the animal.

Julie learned the careful hand-scissoring methods that create balanced shaping and a more finished appearance.
Appointments are focused and personal rather than structured around stacked bookings or a crowded grooming floor.
Call or text Julie if you have questions about your pet's coat or grooming needs, or use online booking to request an appointment.
